  1. tls029              Online 3rd Party Directory Installation Instructions
  2.              ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

  5. Welcome to tls029 - The 3rd Party Directory - Online !
  6. You will need to run the following commands before proceeding
  7. with the actual install:
  8.  
  9. mv tls029.1.Z TAR.Z    - This is referenced by the install script
  10.             - Please note that this file is over 3Mb in size, so
  11.               it may take a while to download.
  12.               The complete installation after this is uncompressed
  13.               is over 14Mb.
  14. mv tls029.2 install    - This is the install  script
  15.

  18. Now follow these instructions:
  19.  
  20. 1. Change to the directory where you want to install the online directory. 
  21.    And move the TAR.Z and install files to that directory.
  22.    This will be referred to as <install-dir> in the instructions.

  24. 2. Install the Directory; Enter the command:
  25.  
  26.         ./install
  27.  
  28.  
  29. To run the SCO Directory
  30. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  31. 1. Update your PATH environment variable - Add <install-dir>/bin to the PATH 
  32.    environment variable in your .profile or .cshrc file.

  34. 2. Type scodir to use the online directory
  35.

  38. For Open Desktop Users
  39. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
  40. 1. Complete all the above steps.

  42. 2. From the desktop, Open <install-dir>/bin
  43.  
  44. 3. Move the SCO Directory icon to your standard desktop.
  45.  
  46. 4. Double-click the icon to run the online directory.
